Every Origin Story Starts With Something That Should Have Ended You
There is a chapter of your life you would remove if you could. I want to talk about that one.
Not to explain it. I have sat with enough people to know that explanations arrive far too early and land like an insult. I only want to point at where it sits in the structure.
Every origin worth telling has the same shape. Something happens that was not supposed to be survivable. The person survives it and is not the same afterwards. And the thing they can do now, the specific thing, the one nobody else in the room can do, exists in that exact shape because of the shape of what happened.
The people who can sit with someone in the dark without flinching are almost never the people who were never in the dark. That is not a coincidence and it is not a poem. It is how formation works.
What you came through is not the thing that disqualified you. It is the reason your power has the shape it has.
I am not going to tell you it was worth it. That is not mine to say and I have watched people say it far too casually to someone still bleeding. What I will say is that it was not wasted, which is a smaller and truer claim, and it is the one I can stand behind.
Your history is not the part of the file you skip past to get to the good part. It is the part that explains why the good part is good.
You already have an origin story. You have been treating it as damage. It is the longest chapter and the last room, and it takes four tests to open, because it is the one worth the most.
Four tests open this one. The Spiritual Maturity Index, Spiritual Seasons Profile, Worldview Alignment Index and Spiritual Legacy Profile. Take all twelve and you have the whole file.
