One Sword. Five Colours. Same Blade, Different Grip
Everyone is issued the identical weapon. I want to be exact about this, because people get it wrong in a way that does real damage.
There is one sword. It is the Word of God. It is not five swords, it is not a starter sword and an advanced sword, and no type of person carries a different Word than any other type of person. On this point I will not be moved, and neither will anything ever written here.
And yet the blade does not look the same in every hand.
Hand it to a Trailblazer and it burns amethyst, and it cuts a road through ground that had no road. Hand it to a Seer and it burns crimson, and it opens what was hidden. To a Catalyst it burns azure, and it starts a reaction in someone who was standing still. To a Guardian, emerald, and it holds a line that was about to break. To a Sage it burns gold, and it makes a thing plain that had been complicated for three hundred years.
Same blade. Different grip.
This is not a small distinction. If you believe you were handed a lesser weapon, you will fight defensively for the rest of your life, and you will let people who seem better armed do the work you were given. You were not handed a lesser weapon. There is no such thing. You were handed the same one and a specific way of holding it.
The colour is not decoration. It is the record of whose hand is on the hilt.
You are already carrying it. You have been swinging it for years without being told its name or its colour.
Take the Battle Posture Assessment to find out how you hold it. The Five-Fold Ministry Profile tells you what colour it burns.
