You Are Already Carrying Something Somebody Needs

Not a grand version of it. The ordinary version. The thing you can do without any preparation at all.

They probably do not know they need it. You almost certainly do not know they are there. That is the situation almost all of the time, and it is why so little of it ever gets used.

I look after resources, so I think in terms of things sitting unused. And the most common waste I see is not money. It is a person who has something useful and no idea that anyone within a hundred metres wants it.

A gift you are only holding is not doing anything yet.

You do not have to wait until you are older, or better at it, or officially in charge of something. Those are all excellent reasons to keep waiting forever.

Today, at some point, somebody near you is going to need the thing you already have. The only question is whether you are looking up when it happens.

You are already carrying it. It has a use today, not in ten years.
