A Letter With Your Name on the Front

Not a message on a screen that went to a thousand people at once. One envelope. Your name. Somebody sat down and wrote it.

You would pick it up. Anybody would. And then you would probably stand there holding it for a second before you opened it, because a letter addressed to you by hand means somebody thought about you when you were not in the room.

That is the part that matters. Not what the letter says. That somebody wrote it before you asked them to.

Where I come from, we are careful with letters like that. We do not tear them open in the hallway. We sit down first.

There is one for you. It was written before you could read. It is not a trick and it is not selling anything, and the reason you have not opened it is only that nobody ever showed you where it was kept.

Somebody wrote to you first. You did not have to earn the letter. It was already addressed.
